Bushmills

"At Bushmills, the unique whiskey making tradition lives in Ireland's oldest working distillery. The first official recorded evidence of whiskey being made in Co. Antrim goes back to 1608. Bushmills, as a distillery, in the town of the same name, was recorded as registered company in 1784. And that's when the Pot Still became our trademark. After recovering from burning down in 1885, we started to export to America and Asia through our own steamship, the S.S. Bushmills. In 2008 we celebrated the 400th anniversary of the original licence to distil, granted to the Bushmills area in 1608."
